MONTEREY COUNTY — Alliance on Aging has announced the return of its free tax preparation services for older adults and people with disabilities, beginning Feb. 2.
The program is available to adults age 60 and older, as well as individuals with disabilities, and is designed to provide reliable, confidential assistance during tax season. Appointments are available at multiple locations throughout Monterey County.
Tax preparation services are offered by appointment and can be scheduled online at allianceonaging.org or by calling 831-655-1334.
All tax counseling is conducted individually and confidentially. Services are available in both English and Spanish to ensure broad accessibility for the community.
Alliance on Aging’s tax preparation program helps older adults and individuals with disabilities navigate the tax process with confidence while retaining more of their income for essential needs, such as housing, food and healthcare.
“We are proud to provide this critical service to our community,” the organization stated. “Free, trusted tax preparation can make a meaningful difference in financial stability, particularly for older adults living on fixed incomes.”
Appointments are limited and early scheduling is encouraged.
