Oct. 7, 2018, Lillian “Mitzi” Harris passed away with her family at her side. She was 86.

She was married 65-years to her husband, John. They met when he was stationed at Camp Roberts where she was a civilian employee. They were married at St. James Church in Paso Robles.

They lived in Southern California for a few years then returned to live in Bradley with their three children. She worked in the Bradley Post Office and retired after 30-plus years.

She and John were 4-H Community Leaders and were involved as project leaders for many years. Her hobbies included reading, sewing, crocheting, teaching ceramics, crossword puzzles, cards and board games. Her cooking was legendary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Lillian Lawson, and son, John Martin Harris. She is survived by her husband, John; daughter Carolynne Minnis (Jim) of Paso Robles; son Jeffery Harris (Lynnette) of Bradley; three grandchildren, Kenneth Minnis, June Yardley and Jennifer Harris; and six great-grandchildren, Alexandrea, Mark, Jake, Rayne, Hazel and Pearl.

The family will be having a private gathering at a later date.
