Wesley C. Eade, Jr. (Charlie) passed away peacefully on August 22, 2018, at the age of 57 with family by his side.

Charlie was born on June, 14th 1961 to Wes & Carol Eade in King City, CA the oldest of three children. Charlie grew up on working cattle ranches the Eade family operated, he loved helping with the ranch work and raising horses. Charlie graduated from King City High School and attended Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA.

In 1989 Charlie began assisting Elmer Rabin procuring and shipping cattle to/from the state of Hawaii via Matson navigation. Mr. Rabin was an old school cattle buyer to Charlie’s credit they became close personal friends. Upon Elmer’s passing Charlie took control of Hawaii procurements and the shipping for the Eade family, a task he managed while making many friends on the islands.

In the mid 1990s Charlie moved to Yuma, AZ to continue his livestock buying and selling career on the US & Mexico border. Charlie again had exceptional positive rapport with feedlot operators, border officials and the Mexican cattle owners. In addition to the cattle business Charlie competed in several cutting horse competitions. In February of 2007 Charlie won the NCHA MillionHeir Non Pro championship at the South Point arena Las Vegas Nevada.

Charlie will be remembered in high regard for his depth of knowledge, charm, wit, enormous personality and adherence to high ethical standards. He was a wonderful son, brother and “Uncle Charlie” with a heart of gold and loved by all who knew him. Charlie was preceded in death of his beloved mom Carol Eade.

Charlie is survived by his father Wes and Nancy Eade, Karen Eade, James (Lora), (niece)Tyler & (nephew) Warren, (step-sister) Elizabeth and her son Austin Pacewic. Also leaving behind Uncle Suk, Aunt Gussie, Kathy Eade, Hannah Eade her son Kenny Eade and numerous cousins.

Ashes will be interred at King City Cemetery, arrangements are private and celebration of life details will be forthcoming.
