KING CITY — King City once again participated in the annual National Night Out campaign last Tuesday, bringing police officers and neighbors together for one night to unite against crime.
The community-building campaign promotes partnerships between local law enforcement and residents to make neighborhoods safer.
The Aug. 7 event, held at the King City Fire Station, included information about crime prevention and safety, free hot dogs, bounce houses and a raffle, in which 15 donated bicycles were given away to local youth.
