
KING CITY — South Monterey County Joint Union High School District’s Hugo Silva and Jamie Jones have been named the 2025-26 Classified and Teacher Employees of the Year, respectively.
In a Feb. 17 announcement, the district stated it is grateful for Silva’s hard work and service.
“Hugo’s dedication, professionalism and commitment to supporting students and staff make a meaningful difference every day,” officials said.
Jones, an English and Drama teacher at King City High School, was praised for her devotion.
“Jamie’s dedication, passion and commitment to student success make a lasting impact every day. We are grateful for all she does for our students and district,” stated officials.
