SALINAS VALLEY — Country music superstar Miranda Lambert will headline the Big Week Kick Off Concert on Saturday, July 11, at the Salinas Sports Complex, announced California Rodeo Salinas.
Lambert, one of the most awarded artists in modern country music, will bring her signature grit and storytelling to the Central Coast, performing a mix of her chart-topping hits. She is the most-awarded artist in Academy of Country Music history, including the Entertainer of the Year honor, and has earned three GRAMMY Awards, 14 Country Music Association Awards, seven No. 1 solo albums and 10 No. 1 radio singles.
Rising country star Dylan Scott will perform before Lambert. Organizers said additional openers will be announced in the coming weeks.
The concert is presented by Taylor Farms and produced by California Rodeo Salinas in partnership with David Drew Productions.
Tickets are available at carodeo.com. The event will be held at the Salinas Sports Complex, 1034 N. Main St., in Salinas. A clear bag policy will be enforced.
The concert kicks off Big Week, leading into the California Rodeo Salinas, scheduled for July 16-19, celebrating Western culture and community.
