
A wreath-laying ceremony took place Saturday to honor veterans at King City Cemetery, one of about 4,500 locations across the country that participated in National Wreaths Across America Day. Local officials, veterans, students and other community members attended the Dec. 13 event to remember those who have served the nation. Led by organizer Kathy Imamura and volunteers, the King City ceremony featured the laying of wreaths on more than 500 veteran graves.
