SALINAS VALLEY — This Saturday the Central Coast Section cross country championships will take place on the Crystal Springs Course in Belmont.
Local high school teams competing are King City, Greenfield, Soledad and Gonzales.
King City, Greenfield and Gonzales will compete in the Division IV races and Soledad will compete in Division III.
The Division III will take place at 12:20 p.m. for boys and 12:55 p.m. for girls. Division IV will be contested at 1:30 p.m. for boys and 2:05 p.m. for girls.
The top placers and teams will qualify for the California Interscholastic Federation championships at Woodward Park in Fresno on Saturday, Nov. 29.
