To the Editor:
I submitted a letter to this paper published on April 2 (“Time for Action”). Please go back and read it. Now I will continue.
Trump: End war in Ukraine on Day 1? Says he ended seven wars somewhere? Everything will be better? Everything will cost less? We will all be tired of winning? Condemns killing? A con man, a king, when asked the hard questions, he has not heard about that yet or knows nothing about it.
The Republican Party is a joke, all scared of Trump, afraid to say no to him. Mike Johnson is Trump’s lap dog, will do whatever the dictator tells him to do.
I hope we are still allowed to have a Presidential Election in 2028, if it’s OK with Trump.
On a different note, on the Opinion page of the Rustler/Tribune on Oct. 15 by Steve Wilson, the end of the article stated he chose the First Amendment is right on.
We are like a Third World country, troops in the street. Trump said we need to stop domestic violence, that he started, and he said he is allowed to do whatever he wants — a quote.
A 34-time convicted felon running the United States. We have sunk so low. We are laughed at by democracies and praised by dictators. I am tired of writing. Republican voters got just what they voted for, except the ones who fell for the con.
$20 billion to Argentina, then $20 billion more, and poor people can’t get enough to eat here. Wake up, America — but it’s probably too late.
