KING CITY — Bryan Cruz of the San Ardo Boxing Club and Andre Mosqueda of the King City Boxing Club came home winners last weekend after wins in Sacramento.
The 15-year-old Cruz won his match at 106 pounds by split decision, and the 12-year-old Mosqueda won by unanimous decision at 106 pounds.
“Andre beat a boy from Reno, Nev.,” said Coach Rodolfo Tapia. “Bryan won by split decision against a local Sacramento boy. I’m very happy for them. Next week we are going to compete in Bakersfield.”
