KING CITY — King City’s newest park, located in the Mills Ranch subdivision, is now open following a ribbon-cutting ceremony Dec. 3.

Central Park was constructed by the Mills Ranch developer, Nino Homes, and will be maintained and operated by the City of King.

“We appreciate the amazing partnership the City has had with Nino Homes to develop this beautiful new park and believe it will be an incredible addition to improving the quality of life for our community for many years to come, particularly and most importantly for our children,” said Mayor Mike LeBarre.

The new park, between Victoria Avenue and Boston Lane, features a variety of amenities, including youth soccer fields, three basketball courts, three pickleball courts, an extensive playground area, barbecue and picnic area, restrooms and landscaping.

According to City Manager Steve Adams, the original park plan was redesigned based upon community feedback to include a “wider variety of amenities to better serve the needs of the neighborhood and entire community.”
