Zavala joins King City PD as newest officer

KING CITY — King City Police Department recently welcomed the city’s newest officer, Javier Zavala, to the force.

Officer Zavala, a Greenfield native and Navy veteran, was sworn in Aug. 8.

Zavala graduated from Monterey Peninsula College Law Enforcement Academy in April. He is currently in the Field Training Program, which will allow him to further his knowledge in the field.

“If you see him driving around, feel free to say hello,” posted King City Police Department on social media. “Welcome to the team, Officer Zavala!”
