KING CITY — King City Mustang swimmers split their meet against Seaside this past Friday.

While the girls lost another one-point decision 47-46, the boys finished the season 5-1 with a narrow 49-45 win.

Four girls took first-place finishes: Mia Lopez in the 100 Back (1:24.27), Nicole Maydon in the 100 Free (1:11.01), Meagan Schwartzhoff in the 200 IM (3:16.95) and Hayden Munoz in the 200 Free (2:39.67).

The boys were led by Dylan Wheeler, who took first in both the 200 Free (2:26.77) and the 100 Back (1:27.10).

Julian Alatorre took first in the 500 Free with a time of 7:05.52, while Maximilliano Morales took first in the 100 Fly with a time of 1:19.69.

The Mustang swimmers will finish the season swimming championships at Hartnell College this coming Friday.
