MASK DISTRIBUTION

KING CITY — Monterey County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office in King City will be distributing surgical masks, N95 respirators and hand sanitizer to agricultural companies and farm labor contractors in Monterey County for the protection of agricultural workers on Thursday, Feb. 3. The supplies will be provided at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis at the King City Office, 522 N. Second St., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Those interested will be asked to provide: company name, contact name, phone number, email address and the total number of ag employees.


COMMITTEE VACANCY

MONTEREY COUNTY — Monterey County Fish and Game Advisory is looking for applicants to fill a vacancy on its committee. The committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors relative to expenditures from County Fish and Game Propagation Fund and on matters regarding hunting and fishing. OFFICE HOUR

MONTEREY COUNTY — Monterey County Office of Emergency Services will begin hosting an hour-long virtual “Office Hour” every other week on Tuesday at 6 p.m., starting Feb. 1. During this time, the public and organizations in the county will have the opportunity to talk to OES staff, ask questions and learn more about preparing for and managing disasters.
