400 take part in annual Friends of the NRA Dinner

An estimated 400 Monterey County locals came together at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds Orradre building for the annual Friends of the NRA dinner on Feb. 25.
The Friends of the NRA, the non-profit, fundraising arm of the National Rifle Association, gives a portion of its earnings for the evening to local organizations. Half goes back to the National Friends of the NRA organization.
The Boy Scouts of America Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council has been a recipient of the funds for many years, and received a check for $37,964 on Saturday night….
