SOLEDAD — A community food distribution will take place Thursday, Oct. 27, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the Soledad United Methodist Church, 310 Main St., in Soledad. Residents are asked to bring their own bags.


CULTURAL FESTIVAL

GONZALES — Gonzales Unified School District has planned a Dia de los Muertos Cultural Festival on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Gonzales High School. MONTEREY COUNTY — On behalf of the Monterey County Board of Supervisors, the Arts Council for Monterey County is seeking original works of art for a juried show. Deadline is Oct. 28 at 12 p.m. to participate in the 16th Annual “Celebrating Monterey County” Juried Show at the Monterey County Government Center Administration Building in Salinas.
