KING CITY — Did you serve in the military? The VA Palo Alto Health Care System Medical Outreach Team will be at the King City VFW, 599 Bitterwater Road, on Thursday, Feb. 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. VA medical providers will be on-site to provide services for veterans enrolled in VA health care, including: examinations, consultations, referrals and toxic exposure screening. Wait times to see medical providers may vary. For those not enrolled or unsure about their eligibility, bring a copy of your DD214 and the team can provide assistance and answer questions.
FREE ZUMBA
GONZALES — Free Zumba classes offered by Salinas Valley Health are continuing this week in Salinas and Gonzales. Classes are held Fridays from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club in Salinas and on Mondays from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Taylor Farms Family Health and Wellness Center in Gonzales. SALINAS — Hartnell College has announced the opening of 12 full-time faculty positions to meet the increasing demand for classes and better serve the needs of students and the community. Adding these new faculty members will help expand the college’s ability to serve more students, reduce class waitlists and shorten completion times for students working toward their academic goals.
