Members of the King City High School boys’ soccer team rode on top of firetrucks during last Wednesday’s parade on Broadway Street to celebrate their second state championship win in three years. The Mustangs claimed the title after beating Archie Williams High of San Anselmo in the NorCal Division IV Championship game on March 2, and finished the 2023-24 season with a 14-6-5 overall record. Following the parade, the March 27 celebration included a ceremony at the Town Square, where community members gathered while local officials presented awards and memorabilia to the players and coaches for their success.
