SAN ARDO — Monterey County Cattlewomen and Cattlemen’s Association announced the 2023 Scholarship Recipients are Jesse Ledezma, Sage Flores and Carly Vorwerck, who were honored May 23 at the association’s annual Scholarship Dinner in San Ardo.
According to Monterey County Supervisor Chris Lopez, who was in attendance, all three scholars “expressed strong interest in pursuing a higher education in the agricultural arena, and returning to the area to keep the heritage of our region alive.”
Lopez added, “Their families are and should be very proud of the amazing young people they have raised. Their futures are very bright!”
