To the Editor:

Thanks to the Rustler for publishing last week’s letter explaining why a group of concerned people gathered Friday night at the King City sign. We were standing against increasing authoritarianism in our government, and the dismantling of many services regular people rely upon.

Heartened by the response from drivers by, we plan to gather each Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the same place. We will continue until the voices of “We the People” impact policies in Washington.

Our elected representatives must respond to nationwide pleas that they truly represent all their constituents. Congress is abdicating its role as a co-equal branch of government and that must change. The administration is ignoring the third branch, courts of law, and that must change.

We anticipate a growing presence calling attention to the constitutional crisis our country faces. Please join us.
