KING CITY — King City in Bloom (KCIB) and King City High School FFA joined forces March 20 for the second annual collaboration workday.
More than 40 FFA students and their advisers participated in planting the new planters along Broadway Street. KCIB members provided the tools, water bottles and instruction on how to plant the planters.
The volunteers were able to get 42 planters filled in just under two hours.
KCIB gave thanks to King City Public Works for ordering and delivering the plants, mulch and soil to each planter.
