KING CITY — King City Rotary Club recently hosted its first Seafood Boil, which replaced the traditional Crab Feed this year.
A total of 300 tickets were sold for the Nov. 19 event, featuring an all-you-can-eat dinner of crab, shrimp, sausage and more at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds.
“We are very grateful for the continual support from the community for the Rotary Club,” said King City Rotary Club President Alex Gourley.
Proceeds from the sold-out dinner, silent auction and bar all go toward local scholarships and community donations from the club.
A 50/50 raffle also raised money for King City Interact Club, which is a Rotary Club for high schoolers who work on local community projects and learn about service, leadership and working together.
