KING CITY — Dozens of vehicles lined up to receive supplies during a PPE distribution event on Feb. 3, hosted by the Monterey County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office in King City.

More than 60 agricultural companies, including growers, pest control businesses and farm labor contractors, stopped by to pick up surgical masks, N95 respirators and bottles of hand sanitizer for the protection of their employees.

Supplies given away totaled more than 512,000 masks, 49,840 disposable N95s and 8,952 bottles of hand sanitizer.
