KING CITY — Officers from the King City Police Department responded to an armed robbery and carjacking that occurred April 7 at about 11 p.m. in the 400 block of Division Street.
Police said two victims were outside their vehicle when they were approached by three to four armed suspects, who demanded their phones and keys.
The victims turned over the property as ordered, and the suspects fled the scene in the victims’ vehicle along with the vehicle they arrived in prior to the robbery.
The phones were later found abandoned in King City, and the stolen vehicle was located in Alameda County and recovered.
“Two subjects were identified as possible suspects in this case,” police said. “The investigation is ongoing.”
