NO NUKES

LOCKWOOD — The Lockwood PerSisters has signed on to support an historic effort to ban the ongoing proliferation of nuclear weapons throughout the world. On Jan. 22, the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons takes effect, establishing in international law a categorical ban on nuclear weapons — 75 years after their development and first use. It is the first legally binding international agreement to comprehensively prohibit nuclear weapons, and the momentous day will be marked by actions, events and celebrations across the United States and around the world.
