SOCIAL SECURITY

KING CITY — An educational seminar, hosted by Robert Cullen of Farmers Insurance and Steve Noonan, regional vice president of Equitable Distributors LLC, is planned for Thursday, April 6, at 12 p.m. at King Kora Restaurant, 611 Canal St., in King City. COOKING CLASSES

GREENFIELD — City of Greenfield and Heal Together are hosting free nutritional cooking classes for Greenfield residents age 50-plus on Fridays, April 7 and 21. Learn to cook new recipes with simple ingredients and sample the food during the classes, which will take place from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Community Center at Patriot Park, 1351 Oak Ave., in Greenfield. EASTER CELEBRATION

SOLEDAD — A free Easter celebration in Soledad is set for Saturday, April 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cesar Chavez Park. There will be an egg hunt for various age groups, games, crafts, prizes, face painting, hot dogs and a visit from the Easter Bunny — presented by Soledad Lioness Club, Soledad Parks and Recreation and Soledad-Mission Recreation District.


BONUS BRIEF: EGG HUNT

KING CITY — Monterey County Agricultural and Rural Life Museum will host an Easter egg hunt on Sunday, April 9. The free public event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the ag museum at San Lorenzo Park in King City. Museum tours will also be available.
