DRIVER SAFETY

KING CITY — California Highway Patrol in King City will be hosting a two-hour “Start Smart” Driver Safety Education Presentation for teens and their parents on Monday, April 17, at 6 p.m. Spaces are limited. Call Officer Meadors at the King City CHP Office at 831-385-3216 to secure a spot for the presentation. Funding for this program is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.


COMMUNITY CLEANUP

CHUALAR — Students with the Chualar Chargers will be helping to clean up their community by throwing away litter and collecting recyclables on Tuesday, April 18, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Residents are asked to watch for them in the community, give them a hand and thank them for their help cleaning up Chualar.


DAZZLE AUDITIONS

SOLEDAD — Open auditions for actors, singers and dancers ages 9 to 18 are set for April 19-20 for Soledad Parks and Recreation’s community show, “Disney Dazzle,” its first-ever theater production. The auditions will take place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Soledad Community Center, 560 Walker Drive. No experience is necessary, and those auditioning should come in closed-toe shoes and comfortable attire. Anyone with questions can call 831-223-5250 or stop by the Community Center.
