SOLEDAD — Dogs and their owners took over Front Street and Cesar Chavez Park on Sept. 29 to celebrate the first Dog Days of Summer, sponsored by South County Animal Rescue.

Dogs were able to participate in the event that featured different food vendors, bounce houses, raffle prizes, face painting, Soledad Police Officers and more.

Dog owners even had the chance to speak with a dog trainer for an “ask the trainer” session.
