Rogelio (Roy/Roger) Diaz, 65, of Tulare, Calif., passed away on July 21, 2017, after a long battle with cancer. Rogelio was born in Edinburg, Texas on February 3, 1952. He graduated from King City High School and went to work as a power plant operator for Pacific Gas & Electric for 30 years. He loved working outside, gardening, exploring new areas and playing basketball. 

Rogelio is survived by his mother Esperanza, five siblings Juanita (Danny), Jesus Jr. (Linda), Noelia (Refugio), Diana, and Jose Luis (Stephanie),  two daughters Crystal (Vince) and Juanita (Eugene), seven grandchildren, 22 nieces and nephews, 15 great nieces and nephews, and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his dad Jesus and brother Reymundo.

The memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on August 5, 2017 at Sunrise Community Church in Tulare, California. In lieu of flowers, may be given to Stanford Head and Neck Oncology in the name of Rogelio Diaz at giving.stanford.edu.
