KING CITY — King City Police Department is investigating another gang-related shooting that injured one person Saturday evening.

Officers responded to a report of a gunshot victim in the emergency room at Mee Memorial Hospital on Aug. 5 at about 6:55 p.m. The victim had been shot once in the leg at an undetermined location in King City. Police said the gunshot wound appeared to be non-life threatening.

According to the officers, they were unable to find the location where the shooting had occurred.

The investigation is continuing, police said.

This is the fourth shooting in King City in less than a month, following incidents on July 9, July 11 and July 18, the latter of which ended with the arrests of four local men. No suspects have been apprehended in the other cases.
