May 8

11:30 p.m. Citation issued for false registration tags and broken tail light on the 1300 block of Broadway Street.

10:22 a.m. Violation of a restraining order on the 300 block of South Mildred Avenue.

10:11 p.m. Victim reported a subject brandished a knife on South Third Street.

May 8

12:55 a.m. DUI on the 10th Street.

1:43 p.m. Vehicle towed for expired registration more than six months on Scott Circle.

2:39 p.m.  Burglary on the 300 block of Parkside Court.

3:30 p.m. Paper money found on near the 900 block of Oak Avenue and El Camino Real.

8:32 p.m. Hispanic male adult arrested for outstanding warrant and others on Harvest Way.

9:37 p.m. Past tense theft on 10th Street.

May 9

5:45 a.m. Vehicle theft on St. Charles Place.

6:07  a.m. Vandalism on vehicles on the 200 block of Apple Avenue.

7:08 a.m. Vandalism to a vehicle on Maple Avenue.

8:35 a.m. Attempted robbery on the 300 block of 10th Street.

8:52 a.m. Vandalism on Orchard Street.

10:55 a.m. Dog at large and no vaccine on 8th Street.

11:46 a.m. Embezzlement on El Camino Real.

1:57 p.m. Assault with deadly weapon and criminal threats on the 300 block of Chianti Way.

8:19 a.m. Suspicious circumstance on 10th Street.

2:20 p.m. Driving without a license on Palm Avenue.

3:25 p.m. Unlawful sex with a minor discovered on the 1200 block of Oak Avenue.

4:39 p.m. Gang contact and traffic citation on 12th Street.

8:07 p.m. Driving without a license on Apple Avenue.

May 11

12:06 p.m. Violation of probation on San Antonio Drive.

1:00 p.m. Vehicle towed on San Antonio Drive.

1:00 p.m. Attempted robbery on Palm Avenue.

5:37 p.m. Hispanic male adult arrested for carrying a concealed dirk/dagger and violation of probation.

6:58 p.m. Domestic violence on Franscioni Drive.

10:00 p.m. DUI on 5th Street.

May 12

8:43 a.m. Missing hispanic female juvenile runaway on Walnut Avenue.

8:07 p.m. Two male adults arrested for violation of probation and possession of methamphetamine.

9:16 p.m. Subject found to be intoxicated in public and probation with alcohol terms on El Camino Real.

9:55 p.m. Runaway juvenile on 10th Street.

May 13

5:55 p.m. White male adult was served with a protective order and weapon was surrendered on El Camino Real.

8:07 p.m. Hispanic male juvenile arrested for probation violation on Maple Avenue.

May 14

8:53 a.m. Vehicle burglary on the 700 block of Tyler Avenue.

1:59 p.m. Child Protective Services referral on Moreno Street.

2:35 p.m. Outside assist on 12th Street.

8:32 p.m. Traffic accident with injury during a DUI on Walnut Avenue.

8:47 p.m. Battery on 5th Street.

   

SOLEDAD

May 7

10:20 p.m. Police were dispatched to a reported victim of a shooting on Orchard Lane. Officers arrived on scene and confirmed the victim was conscious and breathing. She was suffering from a single gunshot wound to her upper right shoulder. The victim could not provide suspect information and was transported to the hospital.

May 8

2:47 a.m. Officer responded to a school by request of the Fire Department for the report of a fire alarm activation on Walker Drive. Fire department determined it was deliberately set. Area check conducted on school grounds revealed vandalism to several areas.

10:02 a.m. An unknown suspect attempted to break into an ATM during an unknown time and date on Front Street. No evidence or leads.

2:40 p.m. While on patrol, Officer witnessed a vehicle stopped in the middle of the roadway on Gabilan Drive. Officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and determined the driver was unlicensed. The driver was arrested, booked, and released on a citation. The driver was then arrested by a Greenfield Police Officer for a separate investigation.

3:20 p.m. Subject was contacted for falling asleep at a stop light on Front Street. Subject was arrested for DUI and released on a citation to a sober responsible driver.

11:40 a.m. A subject stop was conducted

May 9

1:30 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a vehicle left running block an intersection on Gabilan Drive. On arrival, officers located the driver sleeping behind the wheel of the SUV with the car on. Drive had a BAC level of .17 percent and .15 percent. Driver was issued a citation and released. Vehicle was towed by Levya’s Towing.

7:45 a.m. Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration on Market Street. Driver was cited for expired registration, no insurance  and having false tags. The vehicle was towed by Mike’s Tow.

12:49 p.m. Two German shepherd mix dogs escaped from their property and ran into a neighbors front yard on Soledad Street. Both dogs then attacked the neighbors dog causing multiple injuries. The owner of the two German Shepherds was issued a citation for failing to provide licensing and vaccine documentation.

4:30 p.m. Officers assisted Monterey County Probation Department with a probation compliance search. An uninvolved family member was found to be in possession of methamphetamine for sales. The suspect was arrested and lodged into county jail.

May 10

5:21 a.m. A blue Honda Accord two door was reported stolen on First Street. The Honda was taken from 218 First Street in Soledad. The Honda has faded blue paint otherwise in stock condition. No suspect information at this time.

7:45 a.m. A traffic stop was conducted on an individual known to have a warrant on Front Street. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was arrested. Sheriff’s Office records later determined the warrant should have been recalled and the subject was released without charges.

9:49 a.m. A vehicle was seen parked on a public road for several days without moving on Front Street. The vehicle had registration which was expired over one year. The vehicle was abated and stored for expired registration.

10:04 a.m. A student from Soledad High School reported an ongoing issue with being extorted by the Norteno gang on Gabilan Drive. Investigation revealed an additional robber, criminal conspiracy, and proof of benefit to the gang. Investigation is still ongoing pending arrests.

2:24 p.m. Officers contacted a person unknown to have a warrant for her arrest on Front Street. She was arrested and lodged into County Jail.

4:19 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted for violation and no plates on Market Street. The driver was on Juvenile probation arrested for driving without a license. His rear passenger was also arrested for violating his juvenile probation.

4:49 p.m. Officer responded to a residential burglary on Highpoint Court. Upon arrival, the victim stated the suspect (her son) was inside her house without her permission. She stated he does not live at the residence. The suspect was contacted and was taken into custody for burglary.

8:01 p.m. A male subject walked into the Boost Mobile retail store to shop for a new cellphone. The male nonchalantly walked out the store without paying for the new cellphone after the clerk was preoccupied with other customers. Estimated total cost for the cellphone was $769.99. No arrest was made at this time.

May 11

2:10 p.m. A vehicle was vandalized while parked on a highway on Fifth Street.

4:52 p.m. Soledad Officers responded to the area of Gabilan Drive on a domestic violence report. Upon arrival, the male suspect was taken into custody for domestic violence.

May 12

7:30 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a past tense vehicle vandalism report on Vineyard Drive. There is no suspect information or investigative leads.

11:41 a.m. The reporting parties dog entered the neighbors property and was attacked by their pitbull dog on Regina Street. The neighbors were not home so officers entered the property and recovered the injured dog. The dog was then transported to the pet hospital by the owner.

2:59 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a residence regarding a past tense attempted burglary on Mission Way. There is no suspect information or investigative leads.

May 13

10:30 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a non-injury traffic collision between two vehicles on Metz Road. Both drivers had a valid driver’s license and insured.

May 14

11:22 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a residence regarding a missing adult on Munras Street. Upon further investigation , it was discovered the subject had been arrested by San Jose Police Department and still in custody.

6:22 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a residence regarding a domestic violence incident. Upon arrival, both parties claimed they were victims of domestic violence, and the main aggressor was not identified. The male half agreed to stay at a hotel for the night.

11:30 p.m. Police were dispatched to a welfare check on a juvenile who ran away from home after a family dispute on Third Street. The juvenile was said to have left a “Suicide letter” before leaving the residence. Officers obtained all pertinent information and canvassed the area in search for the juvenile.

May 15

7:48 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the Blas Santana Park regarding a break-in of the females restroom and vandalism to the fence on Gabilan Drive. No suspect information or investigative leads.

   

GONZALES

May 7

2:17 a.m. Gonzales officers contacted a runaway juvenile out of Salinas on the 500 block of Fifth Street. Juvenile was removed from MUPS and evaluated.  She was transported to a trauma center.

6:11 p.m. Officers contacted a subject on the 500 block of Center Street and officers discovered he had an outstanding warrant. Officers later discovered he also had drug paraphernalia on his person.

9:18 p.m. Gonzales Police conducted a traffic enforcement stop on the 400 block of Rincon Road. The driver and sole occupant was found operating a motor vehicle on a suspended driver license. The driver was arrested and released with a citation to appear.

May 9

4:11 p.m. Officers arrested a wanted subject on the 400 block of Elliott Avenue. He was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and booked into the County Jail.

4:53 p.m. Officers took a counter report in regards to found property on Fourth Street.

May 10

11:05 a.m. A vehicle repossession company contacted the Gonzales Police Department regarding a vehicle repossession that occurred in the 1100 block of Zinfandel Circle.

1:35 p.m. Officers responded to a subject who was having suicidal thoughts on the 300 block of Ayrshire Way.

5:32 p.m. Gonzales Officers responded to the 100 block of Eighth Street and towed a vehicle for being parked on the roadway for more than 72 hours consecutively.

9:33 p.m. Gonzales officers towed a vehicle from the 700 block of Belden Street for having an expired registration for more than six months.

May 11

7:14 a.m. Officers investigated a hit and run collision that occurred on the 100 block of South Alta Street. Officers later arrested a subject, who was involved in the collision. The subject was later cited and released without incident.

10:00 a.m. Gonzales Police contacted a parolee on the 300 block of South Alta Street. He was found in violation of his parole terms. Parole did not request a hold on the subject and he was released with a citation to appear.

10:13 a.m. The Gonzales Police Department was contacted by a vehicle repossession company of a vehicle repossession that occurred on the 400 block of Venice Way.

11:32 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a prowler in the 800 block of Elko Street. Officers located an adult male and arrested him on numerous narcotics violations and probation violation.

May 12

1:28 p.m. Police Officers responded to a dispute that occurred on the 400 block of Fourth Street.

9:20 p.m. Gonzales Officers responded to the 200 block of South Alta Street regarding a hit and run traffic collision with minimal suspect information.

May 13

8:37 a.m. Gonzales Police officers responded to a domestic dispute on the 200 block of Belden Street. Officers later discovered a subject was under the influence of a stimulant. The subject was later arrested, booked and lodged into the Monterey County Jail.

1:10 p.m. Officers investigated a report of a possible child abuse on the 100 block of Third Street.

May 14

1:34 p.m. Officers responded to the 600 block of Elko Street for a recovered stolen vehicle.

10:50 p.m. Gonzales Police pursued a vehicle after a minor traffic violation on the 200 block of Fifth Street.

May 15

2:22 p.m. Officers towed a vehicle for having an expired registration and being parked on a roadway.

3:02 p.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of Barbera Way for a harassment detail.
