KING CITY — King City once again participated in the annual National Night Out campaign on Aug. 1, bringing police officers and neighbors together for one night to unite against crime. The community-building campaign promotes partnerships between local law enforcement and residents to make neighborhoods safer. Block parties, cookouts and other community events were planned, along with visits from emergency personnel who provided information about crime prevention and safety.
