Christopher Michael Silveira, born August 17, 1972 from Humboldt County, passed away peacefully November 22, 2018 at age 46.

Chris attended King City High School and graduated from Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill.

He loved fishing, hunting and being in nature especially the mountains. He was a very talented carpenter working on residential and commercial buildings. Chris was a free spirit that loved his family, friends and his dog, Jezebel. He loved to joke, laugh and was kind to everyone. Chris will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

His is survived by life partner Yvonne Grogan and her children Deaira Compton, Zack (Stacy) Compton and his grandchildren; parents Sharon & Dennis Hearne, Steve and Susan Silveira; siblings Jody (Denise) Silveira, Denise (Sal) Padilla, Mike (Frankie) Hearne, Debbie (Kenney) Spears, Laura (Jake) Hosier, Stephen (Katelyn) Silveira, Sean Silveira. He is preceded in death by Yvonne’s son, Luke Compton.

Chris will be forever remembered by his nieces and nephews, numerous extended family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m., November 29th at St. John’s Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St. in King City a Celebration of Life will follow.
