Born to Albert (Buddy) and Velma Brewer in December of 1954 Albert was raised in the small town of Bradley, Calif., and attended high school in King City, and lived the majority of his life in San Luis Obispo County.

Albert loved the outdoors and being active – boating, hunting, fishing, and shooting. He played in softball leagues, pool and dart tournaments, enjoyed golf, loved bbq get togethers and competing in Backhoe Rodeos. He started working at a young age and work became his true passion and when he was happiest.

Over the years, he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for companies that included Halletts Backhoe Service, Cole Farms, and B & T Services. Albert was well liked and respected by his co-workers and friends. He will be remembered for his humor, commitment to friends and love of family.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his children Michele McGee (son-in-law Travis Wern), James Brewer and Bailey Brewer; the love of his life Leaha Magee; grandchildren Tom McGee, Kylee and Caleb Brewer; sister Debbie Escamilla; nephew David Weaver; and niece Johnna Weaver.

In lieu of a funeral, a Celebration of Life is planned for Sat., Feb. 9th, Santa Margarita Park (2210 H St., Santa Margarita at 12 noon.
