KING CITY — A civil war broke out Friday morning at San Lorenzo County Park in King City, as students and teachers from Chalone Peaks Middle School participated in a living history event.

The annual Civil War Re-enactment featured a march to the park from King City Cemetery, battles with cannons and classroom activities to learn about the “War Between the States.”
