SOUTH COUNTY — King City High began play in the Coastal League with a 3-2 victory over South County rival Gonzales.

Mikayla Davis earned the pitching victory and Anahi (Buddy) Camacho was the hitting standout for the Lady Mustangs with two base hits and two runs batted in.

In a non-league contest the Greenfield Lady Bruins defeated the Alisal Trojans by a 6-4 score.

Andrea Pantoja had a productive game at the plate for four hits, including three triples and finished with four RBI’s. Andrea Diaz hit a double with an RBI and Ariel Carrillo had a double with an RBI.
