KCPD Announces Multi-Agency Maximum Enforcement Patrol

King City has seen a recent spike in shootings having eight shooting incidents in the last six days. This has resulted in two individuals being shot. In response to this recent increase King City will be conducting proactive patrol with the assistance of personnel from the following agencies:

City to pay $1.2 million to towing scheme victims

The City of King on Feb. 1 agreed to a $1.2 million settlement in the case of a former police sergeant who took part in an illegal towing scheme targeting low-income Hispanics.
The settlement was approved by U.S. Magistrate Judge Laurel Beeler on Jan. 25 and gave approximately 229 victims $3,902 each....
